Capital Expenditure (CapEx) = An amount spent by a company to acquire or significantly improve the capacity or capabilities of a long-term asset such as equipment or buildings
EV = Enterprise Value
EBITDA = Earnings Before Interest and Taxation, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) is a measure of a company’s earnings before considering the financing of that company (the share of equity capital and debt employed), and disregarding potential depreciation and amortization policies, which can be very different. EBITDA allows like-for-like comparisons between different companies’ performance.
PBOC = People’s Bank of China
SARS = Severe acute respiratory syndrome. Considered the first emerging epidemic of the 21st century, SARS emerged in Asia in February 2003 and spread to more than two dozen countries in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia before being contained.
