Support for Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islander Employees, Families and Friends as Recent Attacks on the AAPI Community Rise

In the face of recent attacks on the AAPI Community, both locally in the Bay Area and across the U.S., Matthews Asia wishes to express its sympathy for all those who have been impacted and to reaffirm that racial injustice and violence have no place in our society. As a firm with a long history and association with Asia, as well a significant number of Asian and Asian American employees, we feel the impact of these attacks particularly within our own communities. Consistent with our core values and the importance we place on diversity and inclusion, Matthews Asia does not tolerate discrimination, harassment or racism of any kind and against any person or community. Our firm stands as one with the Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islander community as we speak out against anti-Asian violence, xenophobia, and harassment.
